The #1 Half Marathon in Central Illinois is taking place on 11/1!

ABOUT THE DAM SITE RUN...  The Dam Site Run was created in 2020.  It started as simply a rare opportunity to race that year when nearly every other race was cancelled.  Turns out, the date meant perfect fall colors as the leaves started to fall in Central Illinois, creating the perfect backdrop for a fall race.

THE TRADITION CONTINUES IN 2026....  You can expect the another high quality race with many of the same features you've come to know and love... Certified course... Unique post race swag... Chip timed, with split times... Awards...Finisher medal...  And beautiful fall colors.  Our goal is to give you your money's worth.

NO SINGLE USE PLASTICS ...  We are challenging ourselves to put on an event with no single use plastics.  No plastic water bottles, not even bottles of sports drinks.  If we can put on an event and leave a more positive impact on our environment, we should, right?  (There will be paper cups available at water stops.)
